BIRDS AND BOARS

At Birds And Boars, the hunter is responsible for all of the "in the field" action. Birds and Boars offers a "Semi-Guided" hunting experience. There will be no "hand holding" here. Birds and Boars is archery only for hogs, blacktail deer, and turkeys. For small bird hunting, shotguns are welcome.

With an abundance of hogs, deer, squirrels, turkeys, quail and other game birds, the hunter will have a great all day hunting adventure. (Based on the hunting season and tags purchased)

Chopper's residence is in the middle of the ranch, so he is very knowledgeable of the hog and deer locations, as well as the best locations for trophy tom turkeys.

Once an animal is taken, the hunter is responsible for the field-dressing and skinning of the down game. Birds And Boars provides a nice covered skinning area that includes an electric game hoist to assist in the cleaning of your animal.

At Birds and Boars, all hunts begin at noon on Friday and end at noon on Sunday. Any other combination of days or times must be agreed upon prior to booking. Your hunt includes exclusive access to over 4000 acres of private property, lodging in a cabin with hot showers, a fully stocked kitchen with gas stove, oven and outdoor gas bbq. A charcoal bbq is available as well but you must bring your own briquettes and lighter fluid. FOOD IS NOT PROVIDED. When you leave, it is expected that the cabin be as clean or cleaner than when you arrived.

A wounded animal is considered a dead animal and will count toward your total.
